This memorial is a time for us to come together as a society and remember those we have lost whether this year or in years past. It need not be a solemn affair; we may also remember our lost ones with laughter, joy and fondess as well as tears. Drinking and eating is fine and toasts will be made.
Sir Berengar will say some words to introduce the event, and then will open the floor for anyone to speak or sing or recite on whatever or whoever they please.
If you are not comfortable with public speaking then Sir Berengar has offered to read out your words on your behalf: please contact him before the memorial begins to make arrangements.
