Road usage and Parking
The site is accessed by a gentle winding private road, This is graded and compacted dirt, and easily wide enough to accommodate trucks, horse floats or other large vehicles. A traffic management plan would need to be drawn up in consultation with Womberoo. There is a loop road that can be used to access most parts of the site during set up. It is envisaged that Car Parking would be in a field closest to the road, around a corner from the warfield. Although the cars would be separate to the warfield, the SCA may need to arrange screening if it is felt necessary, using star pickets and hessian.
There is an established emergency evacuation procedure for the site, that will be provided to the Festival Steward team.
Horses are allowed on site, though there is no permanent stabling, temporary facilities could be provided in the form of an enclosed paddock, though water facilities, etc would need to be organised by the horse owners. It should be noted that there would be no additional cost for having horses on site. Dogs and other small domesticated animals would not be allowed, unless required by the disabled.
