CAMPSITES FOR FESTIVAL 2017 WILL BE ALLOCATED CLOSER TO THE EVENT, WHEN WE HAVE A BETTER INDICATION OF NUMBERS
This year Land will be run by Ant of Saint Cloud with assistance from a bevy of helpful volunteers. Things you need to know:
To qualify for an assigned campsite your group must have 5 registered adult attendees. Additionally your campsite must nominate a Warden and a Deputy and they need to register details (registration for land agent / campsite warden will open in January). If you do not meet the 5 adult criteria, there will be space in the ‘unassigned’ block and your campsite will be marked-out upon your arrival on a first in, best spot basis. If you have not booked you will be allocated a campsite at the Gate. Please consult both the map at the gate and a member of the Steward Team before you begin setting up your campsite.
Maps are constructed after bookings close with large and established groups (read – Baronies) getting priority placement. Land will consult with your nominated Warden to determine the placement of your port-a-loos and Marquees. You are also welcome to register requests but please understand they may not be feasible. The Warden will be advised of the people booked for their group as well as estimated campsite perimieter and distance to water source, port-a-loo and drain to assist in planning.
If you haven’t been to Rowany at the current location please take a peek at last years map below. Changes in the grey water policy and Wombaroo’s rules for roads occurred for 2016 but boundaries should now remain stable.
Stay tuned for updates which will be posted here and the Lochac Facebook site. If you wish to discuss any item relating to Land allocation and usage please email us at Rowany.Cartographer@gmail.com
RV Parking area description:
This space has no dump, no power and no water hookups. The RVs are near a stand of trees so there is some undulation in the ground, although no slope. There can also be no fires in the area due to the tree cover.
